The iconic Lancashire landmark, with its rich history of royal visits and famous guests, provided a fitting backdrop for the big reveal. Against the grandeur of the Tower, audiences were introduced to the talented cast who will bring the fairest pantomime of them all to life this festive season.

Producer and director Tom Rolfe was joined by the show’s stars, including Naomi Dale as Snow White, Erin-Joy Laffan as the wicked Queen Horibella, Megan Robson as Fairy Thorn, and Ed Shaw as Prince Daniel. Also returning is audience favourite Dame Tilly, played by Stee Leahy, who is sure to bring plenty of laughter, mischief and mayhem to the stage.

The town’s major pantomime this year, produced by Tom Rolfe Productions, will run from Saturday 22nd November 2025 to Sunday 4th January 2026 and is set to deliver all the traditions audiences love, from audience participation to spectacular song and dance routines.

Speaking at the launch, Tom Rolfe said:

“Snow White is one of the most magical pantomimes of them all and we are thrilled to be bringing it to Blackburn this Christmas. With a fantastic cast, dazzling production values and all the fun you expect from panto, it’s going to be a show full of festive cheer for the whole family.”

The setting of Hoghton Tower added a special sense of occasion. Built in 1565, the Tower has hosted kings, queens, artists and writers through the centuries, and now, it has welcomed a new cast of characters — from the fairest of them all to one of pantomime’s most wicked villains.

With the excitement building, tickets are already on sale and families across the region are being urged to book early to secure their seats as tickets are selling faster than ever.

Snow White runs at the Blackburn Empire Theatre from 22nd November 2025 until 4th January 2026.
