Read all about it

This hugely popular chip-timed road race returns to Witton Park Arena on Sunday 2nd February 2026, promising a challenging course, a community atmosphere and a medal worth showing off. Organised by Blackburn Road Runners.

The 10k kicks off at 11am, with runners setting off from the smooth, fast surface of the professional track. But the real test begins beyond the arena – as the route tackles the famous Buncer Lane climb. It’s tough, but the views and sense of achievement at the top make it totally worth it.

From there, it’s downhill into quiet country lanes and back toward the finish line, where a fancy medal, packed goody bag, and legendary charity cake stall are waiting to reward your efforts.

Before the 10k, the Junior 2k Fun Run gets underway at 10am – a sell-out favourite for families, open to runners aged 15 and under.

Whether you’re aiming for a personal best, cheering on your kids, or just love a feel-good, friendly run with a challenge at its heart, this is an event not to miss.

🎟️ Sign up now to take advantage of Early Bird pricing before 1st January 2026.
