CCTV footage shows someone throwing bedroom furniture over a fence onto private property in Blackburn. The Council is asking: do you recognise them?

The Council’s Environmental Crime Team said the incident happened on Wednesday 18 February at around 5pm on Clayton Street, Blackburn.

In the footage shared on social media, a person is seen bringing bedroom furniture out of a building opposite and throwing it over a fence into the site of the former John’s Snooker Club building.

The Council is urging anyone who recognises the person in the video to get in touch confidentially.

Residents who can help are asked to email envirocrime@blackburn.gov.uk with the reference SRU/19115 in the subject line.

The Council said information will be treated confidentially.
