People in Lancashire are being asked for their views on a draft transport plan that will shape travel across the county up to 2030.

The draft Local Transport Plan (LTP) Implementation Plan has been produced by the Lancashire Combined County Authority (LCCA) and sets out how transport improvements could be delivered locally over the next four years.

The plan covers the whole county area, including Blackburn with Darwen Council, Blackpool Council, Lancashire County Council and all 12 districts.

It builds on last year’s Local Transport Plan Core Strategy consultation, when residents, businesses, visitors and commuters shared their priorities for the future of transport.

The latest consultation is now live and runs for six weeks, closing on Tuesday 30 June 2026.

Councillor Phil Riley, Chair of the Lancashire Combined County Authority’s Transport Advisory Board, said: “This is an important opportunity for residents to influence how transport develops across Lancashire.

“Better transport is key to supporting jobs, improving health and making our towns and neighbourhoods more accessible and attractive.

“We want to better understand people’s everyday journeys and the challenges they face, so we can focus on the improvements that will make the biggest difference.”
