Since the start of refurbishment works, council staff have been operating from a temporary base inside Darwen Market. That arrangement will continue until Tuesday 1 July.

From Wednesday 2 July, in-person support and council services will return to their usual home at Darwen Town Hall.

Until then, help is still available from the friendly council team in the Market during normal opening hours — Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Residents can also continue to get support online, by email or over the phone:

While the temporary setup may have caused some inconvenience, the council has thanked residents for their patience as improvement works are finalised.

Darwen Town Hall is expected to fully reopen with refreshed facilities, improving the space for both staff and visitors.
