“He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man.” Samuel Johnson.

In fog-bound, repressed Victorian London, Dr Henry Jekyll is close to a discovery that will change the face of medical science… but his methods are less than ethical. When a colleague threatens to expose and destroy his work, Jekyll is forced down a dark path, a path that leads to the evil and brutal Edward Hyde. Love, betrayal and murder combine in this spellbinding adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson s gothic, psychological fantasy.

Combining ensemble story-telling, physical theatre andan atmospheric soundscape, Lane’s razor-sharp script remains true to the spirit and themes of the original novella while offering one or two dark twists.

Disturbing, gripping and thought-provoking, this is unmissable theatre.
