The wait is over! Darwen’s Christmas lights switch-on headliner has been revealed as none other than 90s electro dance icons, K-Klass! The group, known for their hits ‘Rhythm is a Mystery’ and ‘Let Me Show You,’ will bring their infectious beats to the Market Square on Saturday, 16th November for what’s sure to be a spectacular event.
Building on last year’s record-breaking lights switch-on, which featured N-Trance, this year’s event promises to be even bigger. The festive fun will kick off early in the afternoon, with K-Klass taking centre stage in the evening to light up the town and get everyone into the Christmas spirit.
Alongside the entertainment, Darwen’s beloved Crafty Vintage festive markets will be back, offering plenty of festive treats, food, drinks, and gifts for all. There will be activities for the whole family, making it the perfect way to start the countdown to Christmas.
The event, jointly funded by Blackburn with Darwen Council and Darwen Town Council, is sure to draw huge crowds, so keep an eye on the Darwen Town Centre website and social media for the full line-up and timings.
