Promoter Richard Searling confirmed the news, stating the cancellation is due to delays in the venue’s multi-million-pound refurbishment, which is now expected to be completed by April 2026. Ticket holders will receive automatic refunds and no action is required.
A proposed replacement date may be announced next year.
Also recently removed from the venue’s listings is comedian Russell Kane’s show HyperActive, originally planned for Saturday 1 November 2025. It comes as the venue continues to update its calendar amid the ongoing refurbishment.
King George’s Hall is one of the North West’s most historic live venues and has been undergoing major upgrades to modernise its facilities. Audiences will be hoping the improvements bring even more big names to Blackburn in the years ahead.
