Blackburn Cathedral is re-opening for Private Prayer

Cathedral opening for private prayer on 15th June and then each day from 10am – 2pm

Preparations are underway and measures are being put in place at Blackburn Cathedral so we can re-open our doors and welcome people back in the building safely for private prayer and reflections.

New measures to keep people safe will include:

  • a ‘one way’ system
  • hand sanitisers at appropriate points
  • only the nave will be accessible
  • there will be no seating
  • the café, shop and the toilets will not be open at this time.

Watch the information video above.

The Cathedral remains closed for acts of worship for the time being.

Blackburn Life has been running as a voluntary venture to support the borough and its community. We are always happy to discuss advertising and promotional packages for businesses to help cover our costs of running Blackburn Life.

Blackburn Life will never charge you fees, levies or memberships to add your events, news, jobs and business listings.
