Blackburn Market extends opening hours

Blackburn Market is to add an extra half hour to their shopping day from this Wednesday.

Since the market reopened to the public, they have been operating reduced hours of 9am to 5pm, but from Wednesday 8th July, the market is set to open at 8:30am (its original opening time before lockdown).

This weekend the market’s cafes reopened with new restrictions in place in the seating area to allow for social distancing. Both the hairdressers and the barbers opened too, with a very large queue at the barbers, who are still offering a walk-up service.

You can read more about the market and how it is operating since the lifting of full lockdown restrictions on on their website’s Safe Shopping Guide https://blackburnmarket.com/safe-shopping-for-all/

Blackburn Life has been running as a voluntary venture to support the borough and its community. We are always happy to discuss advertising and promotional packages for businesses to help cover our costs of running Blackburn Life.

Blackburn Life will never charge you fees, levies or memberships to add your events, news, jobs and business listings.
