The festive season has officially begun at Blackburn Empire Theatre with the launch of this year’s spectacular pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk. After months of preparation, the curtains rose today (Friday, 22 November) for the first school performance, with pupils from St. Mary’s Primary School, Hawkshaw, among the first to enjoy the magic.
Public performances begin tomorrow (Saturday, 23 November), marking the start of a magical journey for families across the region.
