Meet the Stars of Beauty and the Beast In Mall Blackburn

Blackburn’s Panto Season to Get Off to a Roaring Start with Enchanting Meet & Greet in the Mall

The Blackburn Empire Theatre has announced the official launch of its Christmas pantomime, Beauty and the Beast, with a special meet and greet event at The Mall, Blackburn on Saturday, 23rd September from 1pm to 3:30pm.

Families are invited to come along and meet the stars of the show, including 90s pop sensation Lolly, who will be taking on the role of the Enchantress. Lolly, known for her infectious pop hits and vibrant stage presence, rose to fame in the late 90s with chart-topping songs like “Hey Mickey” and “Big Boys Don’t Cry.” Now, she brings her undeniable talent and charisma to the Blackburn stage as she takes on the role of The Enchantress.

There will be plenty of opportunities for photos, autographs, and fun and games.

Beauty and the Beast is a classic tale of love, redemption, and the power of true friendship. The show will feature stunning scenery, beautiful costumes, and hilarious comedy, with something for everyone to enjoy.

This year’s production will also star X Factor’s Johnny Wright as the Beast, Stee Leahy as Tilly Teapot and Dean Raymond as Tommy Teacup.

Beauty and the Beast will run from 25th November to 31st December 2023 & tickets are on sale now at blackburnempire.com. Tickets are already at record levels, following last year’s sell-out performances.

Producer, Tom Rolfe, said:

“We are so excited to be back at the Blackburn Empire Theatre this Christmas with Beauty and the Beast. It’s a timeless story that will appeal to audiences of all ages, and we have a fantastic cast lined up to bring it to life.

“Our meet and greet event at The Mall, Blackburn is a great opportunity for families to come and meet the stars of the show and get excited for the panto season. We can’t wait to see you there!”
