Ricky Groves steps into Pantomime’s Fleshcreep Role at King George’s Hall

Shone Productions and King George’s Hall are delighted to announce that Ricky Groves will be stepping into the role of Fleshcreep at this year’s pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk. Best known for his role as Garry Hobbs in Eastenders, Ricky has also been seen in Burnside, London’s Burning, Strictly Come Dancing, Celebrity Coach Trip, and many more.

Tom Roberts can no longer appear in this year’s production of Jack & The Beanstalk, due to ill-health.

Starring X Factor Winner – Dalton Harris As Jack, The Hilarious – Mark Slowey As Dame Trott, Singing Sensation – Emily Roylance as Princess Jill, Back by Popular Demand, Comedy Star – Charlie Guest As Silly Billy, Local Favourite – Chloe Carrington As Fairy and now Eastenders’ – Ricky Groves as Fleshcreep!

Meet our hero Jack, his brother Silly Billy & his mother Dame Trott as they attempt to beat the evil giant in the sky and save the village. Will Jack save the day and fall in love with the Beautiful Princess Jill? There’s only one way to find out…Don’t miss this year’s spectacular pantomime featuring a superb cast, live band, brilliant scenery and costumes, amazing special effects, and lots and lots of laughs!

Producer, James Shone, revealed: “I am so excited to be bringing Jack & The Beanstalk to Blackburn this pantomime season. We are thrilled and thankful to welcome Ricky Groves into the cast although we will miss Tom Roberts and wish him a speedy recovery.”
