Testing capacity improves in Blackburn with Darwen with walk-in sites available

Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council have announced that COVID-19 testing capacity in the borough has improved.

Available for anyone with symptoms, you can register and book online or call 119. The registration process takes approximately 5 minutes to complete and provides you with an appointment.

Alternatively, walk-in centres are available, without appointment, at Railway Road in Darwen or at Blackburn College, 8am–8pm, seven days a week. The public are reminded to follow public health guidelines around social distancing and face coverings when onsite. The council are not currently encouraging those without symptoms to get tested.

Appointments for mobile testing at Corporation Park, Blackburn and the permanent site outside the Royal Blackburn Hospital are available via the national system.

Blackburn Life has been running as a voluntary venture to support the borough and its community. We are always happy to discuss advertising and promotional packages for businesses to help cover our costs of running Blackburn Life.

Blackburn Life will never charge you fees, levies or memberships to add your events, news, jobs and business listings.
