A day of tributes to raise money for Miles for Mitchie

A large scale event is due to take place at Cherry Tree Cricket Club, Blackburn this Sunday 19th September with the aim of raising vital funds for the Miles for Mitchie campaign.

Longridge-based Mitchie had a 9 hour operation, 6 weeks radiotherapy and 4 months chemotherapy to tackle Medulloblastoma and now the campaign continues to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The event features a host of the best of Lancashire’s Tribute Artists including Take Off That, Pete Valentine as George Michael, Stacy Green as Pink, Kelly Marie as Cher and Andie Crosbie as Elton John.

Taking place from 2pm to 9pm on Sunday 19th September, the final few tickets are available now from https://www.lwevents.co.uk/event-details/legends-blackburn-1 with 10% of the ticket sales going direct to the Miles for Mitchie Campaign.

The family friendly event has ticket prices from £9 with Family Tickets at £35.

Expect to enjoy food and drink stalls as well as a fun fair too.
