Theatres in Blackburn and Darwen
Two great venues in one, with the main Concert Hall and the more intimate Windsor Suite. King George’s Hall, which has just celebrated its 100th anniversary hosts a packed programme of events.

Blackburn Empire Theatre calls itself “Lancashire’s Liveliest Little Theatre”. It has a packed programme of events and is the home for Blackburn Drama Club, Blackburn Musical Theatre Company & Blackburn G&S Society.
With a wide range of shows including music, dance, comedy and variety, visitors often comment on the friendly atmosphere of this theatre, which is run mainly by volunteers.
The theatre also produces the longest run of any pantomime in the area, beginning in late November each year.
The theatre is ideally placed near Ewood Park Football Ground and has free parking.
Darwen Library Theatre is a 200 seat theatre in the heart of Darwen Town Centre.
It is well-known for its range of music and comedy shows, as well as fabulous shows for families and children.
