Christmas all wrapped in the Mall with Polar Bear’s Picnic

The Mall Blackburn has Christmas 2013 all wrapped up with late night openings and a very special guest appearance from Bjorn the globe trotting famous Polar Bear amongst the many exciting plans!

Late night shopping will start in style on the evening that X-Factor winner Matt Cardle flicks the switch on Blackburn’s Christmas lights on Thursday 21st November.

The Mall will then be open until 8pm every Thursday up until Christmas to make life easier for shoppers during the hectic holiday season. For those last minute buys The Mall will also be open until 8pm on Friday 20th, Saturday 21st and Monday 23rd December and until 4.30pm on Christmas Eve.

Bjorn promo ACEAn incredibly lifelike Polar Bear model called Bjorn, who has been a huge hit across the world, will be wowing shoppers on Sunday 1st December and will be bringing along an Arctic Conservationist who will be teaching kids fun facts about polar bears and their habitats.

Bjorn, who is the same size as his living relatives, is fully interactive, playful and can even do tricks. Children will be able to get up close and stroke his fluffy white fur and have pictures taken as a memento of the day!

There will also be a fantastic Santa’s Grotto, personal letters from Santa, a huge life size snow globe, charity gift wrapping, a Giving Tree and much more are all on offer as part of the magical Christmas at The Mall.
