Mark Stanway, formerly of British rock band Magnum, embarks on a fresh chapter as he takes to Darwen Library Theatre’s stage in May to share a lifetime of experiences.
Join Mark as he reminisces about his long and colourful career in his jovial style, sharing tales from a career that has spanned over four decades.
In addition to his lengthy association with Magnum, Mark played with legendary artists such as Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin), Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy), Roy Wood (Wizard/Move/ELO) and M3 Classic Whitesnake, amongst numerous others.
This stage show, which will be illustrated with a slide and video show featuring previously unseen material from Mark’s private archive, will delve deeper into Mark’s reservoir of entertaining stories collected over the years.
There will also be a questions and answers session, a keyboard demonstration and impromptu playing that demonstrates Mark’s diversity as well as a memorabilia raffle.
But the evening would not be complete without live performances of some of Mark’s best loved contributions to Magnum’s rich musical legacy.
This highly entertaining, up close and personal one-man show is a must see, not only for Magnum fans, but anyone with an interest in classic rock and the music industry.
