The National Festival of Making is gearing up for its fifth event, taking place on July 8 and 9, 2023. As part of this milestone event, the festival organisers have unveiled an impressive and diverse food and drink line-up.
One of the highlights of the festival’s culinary offerings is the presence of Taste Lancashire which will showcase the best that the region has to offer in terms of food and drink, featuring a wide selection of vendors including cheese from Bowes Dairy; jams and more from Heritage Kitchen Range of Preserves Limited and pizzas from Island Foods T/A Pizza Island.
Visitors to the festival can also explore the Taste Lancashire market, which will be a tasty treasure trove of culinary delights. Among the attractions, world-renowned gins made locally in Lancashire by Goosnargh Gin or The Three Wheel Gin Company, will be available for sampling and to take home.
In addition to the exceptional gins, visitors can treat themselves to an assortment of delectable baked goods, including artisan bread, pastries, and cakes made by Lone Wolf Bakery; award-winning ice cream from Mrs Dowsons and an assortment of honey and other tasty treats straight from The Bee Centre.
The festival will also boast a variety of more substantial street food stalls, ensuring there’s something to tempt everyone. Visitors can choose from a range of gourmet burgers from Elvin’s Street Food, mobile pizza from Super8Pizza, or Halal delights from Deli Delite.
