Another Cannabis find by Police

CANNABIS with an estimated street value of up to £76,000 has been discovered at a house in Darwen.

Officers found 190 plants after a raid at the address on Blackburn Road last night (Thursday 21 July).

Hydroponic equipment including lights and fans was also found at the house. No one was arrested and enquiries continue to find out who was behind the set up.

PC Mo Ravat from Blackburn Police said: “As a result of information from members of the public, we have dismantled an extremely professional cannabis farm and taken thousands of pounds of cannabis off our streets.

“We are committed to tacking drugs and will continue to act on information from the public to reduce the harm they cause to communities.”
