CONFESSIONAL FESTIVAL 2025 – 10TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION
Holy Trinity Church, Blackburn | Friday 12 – Saturday 13 September
Tickets: www.confessionalfestival.co.uk
INFORMATION
Confessional Festival is back — and this year, celebrates 10 years of spotlighting the best in emerging music, all from inside one of the most striking venues in the North.
Set in the Grade II listed Holy Trinity Church, Confessional has long stood out on the UK’s grassroots circuit — fusing genre-defying music with Gothic architecture, stained glass, and soul-shaking sound.
Over the years, the event has proudly hosted early shows from the likes of Working Men’s Club, Brooke Combe, Rianne Downey and Red Rum Club. 2025’s line-up picks up that mantle — a cross-genre bill of next-gen noisemakers, ready to take the leap.

A DECADE DEEP
Ten years on, Confessional is still pushing for bold bookings, DIY spirit, and magic in unlikely places. We’ve played crypts, cotton mills, and cathedral basements — but our spiritual home remains the Trinity altar, where guitars meet grandeur and the next big thing still plays inches from your face. If you’ve been, you know. If you haven’t — this is the year.
