Ten years since his BBC New Comedy Award win, things have been going rather well for Steve Bugeja ( ‘Boo-Jay_Ah‘ seeing as you asked). His jokes and stories have taken him right around the globe with Melbourne, Australia being a particular hot spot for Bugeja fans.

Steve’s no stranger to the small screen either with appearances including The Russell Howard Hour, Love Island: Aftersun, Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central and Zoe Ball on Saturday as well as a couple of appearances on Australian telly. Steve’s humour is very much in demand behind the scenes too, he’s head writer for Iain Stirling’s CelebAbility and co-created and co-wrote the ITV sitcom Buffering. Fun fact: Steve’s cousin was the prime minster of Malta.

Mark Nelson’s mix of dark humour, cutting observations and superb one-liners have seen him firmly established as one of the UK’s biggest-hitting comedy powerhouses. With a likeable manner on stage belying some of the stronger content, Nelson often has audiences laughing at things they know they really shouldn’t be laughing at. Since winning the first ever Scottish Comedian Of The Year Award in 2006, Mark has gone from strength to strength. A regular on Scottish TV and radio, he has also written for Have I Got News For You, Mock The Week, and 8 Out Of 10 Cats and created the BBC’s biggest ever online hit, News At 3, which has over a quarter of a billion views!
