With a buzzing main stage, a bold parade, and plenty of ways to join in — this is more than just a celebration. It’s a moment for Blackburn to come together and say, “Everyone is welcome here.”
This year’s event is supported by Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and its Let’s Foster campaign, showing the borough’s strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and community support.
✨ A New Parade Route, Same Incredible Energy
The Pride Parade kicks off at 12 noon from Cathedral Square, winding through the town centre before finishing outside the Town Hall. That’s where the main stage will keep the energy high with live entertainment running through until 6pm.
Expect music, dancing, community stalls, face painting, food vendors, and a whole lot of joyful noise.
🎤 Main Stage Headliners
This year’s lineup is packed with glitter, talent and pure entertainment. Headliners include:
- Bailey J Mills – The bold and brash social media star bringing viral humour and unapologetic energy
- SMASHBY – Known for catchy pop anthems and high-energy performances
- Barb, Violet Blonde, and Donna Marie – Serving classic drag, glamour and powerhouse vocals
Local favourites Phil Norcross and Jason Kenny will also take to the stage.
💬 What Blackburn Pride Means
Cllr Julie Gunn, Deputy Leader of the Council and founding member of the Pride Committee, said:
“We have always wanted to celebrate the diversity of our town, and the stallholders and sponsors’ support for diversity is so great to see. It’s lovely to see how Pride continues to grow in Blackburn.”
Cllr Jim Shorrock, Chair of Blackburn Pride, added:
“Pride is about visibility, resilience, and joy. We’re proud to create a space where everyone can show up as their true selves and celebrate love in all its forms.”
