Yorkshire’s premier Big Band, The Sixteen Piece Northern Swing Orchestra, is bringing its sensational Songs From The Rat Pack show to the Blackburn Empire Theatre on Sunday 28th September 2025 at 7:30pm.

Audiences can look forward to an evening packed with timeless music, irresistible rhythms, and the unforgettable charm of the Rat Pack era. Featuring the legendary hits of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr., alongside the swinging classics of Count Basie, this spectacular show promises a night to remember.

Highlights include classics such as “The Lady Is a Tramp”, “Me and My Shadow”, and “Ain’t That a Kick in the Head”, together with big band favourites like “Flight of the Foo Birds”, “Splanky” and “Sweet Georgia Brown”. With three outstanding vocalists and the full power of a 16-piece orchestra, the show captures the style, humour and energy of the original Rat Pack.

Musical Director Jonathan Wyatt said:

“We always love the Rat Pack show. The band gets to have a bit of fun on stage and it’s a rare opportunity to see an authentic line-up of all three Rat Pack singers with a full-sized Big Band. If you love the Rat Pack and the sound of a Big Band, this is definitely for you.”
