Inspired by the most creative decade in music, The Counterfeit Sixties bring the whole decade to life with a show featuring music from over thirty bands and performers including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Dave Clark Five, The Kinks and The Monkees.

Coming to the Blackburn Empire Theatre on Friday 27th March, the members of the group have a wealth of experience from playing in various bands and working with some of the legends of the time. The members of the band have individually worked with notable sixties’ artists such as The Searchers, The Ivy League, The Fortunes, The Tremeloes and many more.

This show evokes all the memories from the 60s that you know and love. Every song a massive hit and classic!

A full multimedia experience, utilising live action footage of familiar sights and sounds from the period: from specially selected events, famous people, adverts, and – of course – the original artists themselves, the two-hour performance covers many aspects of the era.

You’ll be transported back to the swinging sixties before you know it!
