The party comes to Blackburn…
The BDO have announced that the new venue for the BDO World Trophy will be the King George’s Hall in Blackburn.
The venue will be home to the BDO World Trophy for the next three years, starting with the 2019 event, in a deal which ensures the longevity of the event for players and supporters alike.
The historic venue, which regularly hosts a variety of events, will be lit up as 48 of the BDO’s top male and female players will be fighting it out to be crowned champion.
28 Men and 14 Ladies have already secured their places, with the play-offs for the remaining four Men’s and two Ladies’ places scheduled for Thursday 29th August prior to the commencement of the live finals which start on Friday 30thAugust, running through to Sunday 1st September!
This celebration of our top players will be shown live on Eurosport and information about how you can come along, soak up the atmosphere and cheer on these world-class players will be released over the next few days!
Tickets are on sale from Monday 22nd July.
