Kimberley Russel re-imagines Joyce Grenfell’s iconic creations at Darwen Library Theatre

“George don’t do that.”

Joyce Grenfell was a British comedienne, and queen of the comic monologue. An acclaimed comedy performer on stage, radio and television.

This October at Darwen Library Theatre, Kimberley Russel re-imagines her iconic creations in a one woman show, performing Joyce’s monologues and songs, as she takes us on a journey through smiles and thoughts and tears.

All the favourites appear including a harassed nursery teacher, “stately as a galleon” and “Lumpy Latimer” .

Pure delight!
