Stone Foundation bring their Midlands funk and soul tradition to Blackburn

This November, Stone Foundation bring their Midlands funk and soul tradition to King George’s Hall.

Think of Sly and the Family Stone, Dexys Midnight Runners and The Specials. Then think again, because the clue’s in the name!

Their sound is a fine blend of all that has come to pass; from the blues and early R’n’B, through to soul and ska and new wave. Theirs is a solid musical grounding.

Keeping the Midlands funk and soul tradition very much alive, Stone Foundation have released their new album Everybody, Anyone which has gone straight into the Top 30 Album Chart.

Everybody, Anyone sees a harder, heavier funk vibe than it’s predecessor but with great grooves come great songs and a special collaboration with Paul Weller.

We can’t wait to hear it performed live!
