Blackburn BID Seeking New Manager as Role Becomes Vacant

Blackburn’s Business Improvement District (BID) is recruiting for a new BID Manager, following a change in leadership.

The role, managed by Newground Together on behalf of Blackburn town centre businesses, has become vacant after the previous manager, Catherine Price, moved to a new position with Bolton Council.

The successful candidate will lead on the delivery of the BID’s priorities across four key areas:

  • Marketing and promotion of the town centre
  • Safety and security
  • Environmental improvements and sustainability
  • Business support and engagement

The position is full-time, with a starting salary of £45,259, and operates on a hybrid working basis. It involves close collaboration with town centre businesses, service providers, and partner organisations.
