Residents are invited to gather outside Darwen Town Hall to pay tribute to the Armed Forces. The Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen, Cllr Jacquie Slater, will lead the flag-raising ceremony alongside Deputy Lieutenant Travis Frain. This is a moment to recognise the dedication and sacrifice of our Armed Forces community – past and present.
Join civic leaders, veterans, and members of the community as Blackburn raises the Armed Forces Day flag in honour of our servicemen and women. Deputy Mayor Cllr Mahfooz Hussain will attend the ceremony, with the ceremonial flag presented by Deputy Lieutenant Khalid Saifullah. All are welcome to show support and mark this important national occasion. |
