Whether you’re part of a Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), sports club, hosting a community event, or organising an open day, Blackburn Life is here to lend a helping hand!
So now, we’ve got some great news! We’ve made it even easier to get your events on the guide.
Option 1: Register with the Blackburn Life Website and then you can add Events, News, Jobs & Businesses. You get your own Blackburn Life dashboard, where you can add and manage your content on Blackburn Life. If you want to register then head over to https://blackburnlife.com/register/
Option 2: Setup your event in Facebook. It must be on a Facebook page (not a group) and make Blackburn Life a co-host of the event. As soon as we accept your invitation, the website will pick up your event too. (Please be patient, as this will not happen immediately). You’ll find the Co-host option in settings on the last page when setting up or editing an event.
Option 3: Send us the ID of your Facebook event. You can find the ID in the URL for the event. It’s usually a 15 digit number. So for instance in this event: https://www.facebook.com/events/497703692490856, the event ID is 497703692490856.
Then simply send us the ID via this form:
Exciting updates are in the pipeline as well, including the ability to link your events from platforms such as Eventbrite and MeetUp. So watch out for news.
