The Government have announced a whole range of businesses and leisure facilities that can reopen in phases from this weekend. Here’s everything you need to know about the dates gyms, pools, beauty salons, team sport and outdoor arts performances will be returning.

So when can businesses start to reopen?

Here are the all important dates and businesses that can reopen:

From Saturday 11th July these businesses can reopen

  • Outdoor swimming pools
  • Outdoor theatres
  • Outdoor arts performances – including theatres, opera, dance and music – will also be able to resume from Saturday although audience numbers will be restricted and will be subject to social distancing rules.
  • Grassroots outdoor sports will be able to return, beginning with cricket.

From Monday 13th July these businesses can reopen

  • Nail bars
  • Tanning salons
  • Tattoo parlours
  • Spas
  • Beauty salons

From Saturday 25th July these businesses can reopen

  • Indoor gyms
  • Indoor swimming pools
  • Indoor sports facilities
  • Leisure centres
  • Grassroots outdoor sports
