Take a journey through Dodecalis Luminarium Inflatable Sculpture this August

This August, the National Festival of Making is bringing the Dodecalis Luminarium, created by Architects of Air, to Blackburn’s Corporation Park!

Enter the Luminarium and enjoy a magical journey as you move through the winding paths and vast domes of this monumental, inflatable sculpture.

Handcrafted by a team of five Inflatable Makers, the Luminarium will leave you with a sense of wonder at the beauty of light and colour.

A gentle soundscape will fill the chambers as the daylight filters through its walls, creating a sensory experience like no other.

Inspired by Cathedrals and Islamic architecture, the Luminaria have amazed 3 million visitors in over 40 countries across 5 continents – from Australia’s Sydney Opera House to the National Museum of Singapore – creating a sense of wonder for all ages.
