Turtle Bay Blackburn Are Creating 50 New Jobs – Here’s How To Get One!

THE CARIBBEAN RESTAURANT AND BAR ARE HOLDING AN AUDITIONS DAY AT THE RESTAURANT ON 10th – 11th AUGUST

Turtle Bay Blackburn is getting ready to welcome guests back from the 24th September and they are on the hunt for a whole team of front and back of house superstars to join the team!

Turtle Bay Blackburn will be ‘auditioning’ hospitality hopefuls on the 10th and 11th August, when a fun and fabulous recruitment day with a twist will take place at the Blackburn restaurant.

Turtle Bay is all about allowing their team to shine – offering flexibility, support and celebrating team members as individuals (plus they throw one hell of a team party!).

Their approach to recruiting a team is a bit different to the average job fair, and attendees at Turtle Bay’s auditions will take part in a mix of activities including informal interviews, psychometric tests, a chance to pitch their own ideas to TB management and possibly even some limbo dancing!

It’s all designed to showcase candidates’ personalities and abilities, and to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where applicants can get a proper flavour of life at Turtle Bay.

With more than 50 jobs available front and back of house new recruits will become part of an exciting new team and learn everything there is to know about rum, reggae and jerk – from tasting over 40 different types of rum to learning the secrets of the jerk pit BBQ.

Positions are available across all levels including management plus Turtle Bay offers the chance to develop and grow within the company. Training is provided and waiting staff regularly go onto become managers in a short space of time.

Fran Toal, Operations Manager from Turtle Bay said:
“We are so excited to reopen Blackburn and we’re on the hunt for fantastic local people to join us in bringing the Caribbean Social back to the town after what has been such a tough time for everyone. Working at Turtle Bay is fast-paced and fun, and we’re confident we’ll find some amazing people in the Blackburn community who will embrace that.  We offer a great chance to grow within the company too – Blackburn – we’ve missed you and we can’t wait to get this show on the road!
