Blackburn BID have announced details of this year’s Christmas Lights Switch On event on Saturday 27 November 2021.
Costumed characters, from local company Pop-Up Princesses, will perform a 25 minute minute theatrical, feel good show at 5:30pm ending with a fireworks display as the Christmas Lights are switched on.
A beautifully costumed and illuminated cast of singers, dancers, acrobats, and walkabout characters will form the cast of the interactive shows performed just above ground level.
Beginning with 5-10 minutes of interaction/meet and greets with audiences, the characters will then come to life with high energy choreography, incredible vocals and Christmas spirit as the show begins in a flash mob style!
There will be two additional performances earlier in the day starting at 2:30pm.
