The brand-new production for 2026 celebrates the remarkable career of Eric Clapton, widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential blues and rock guitarists of all time.
Performed by acclaimed guitarist Benny “Guitar” Smith and his fully live six-piece band, the show recreates the unmistakable sound and style that made Clapton a global icon. Combining powerful live music with audio-visual storytelling, the production takes audiences on a journey through more than five decades of music.
The show explores Clapton’s incredible musical career, from the blues-driven sound of John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, to the groundbreaking rock of Cream, the soulful era of Derek and the Dominos, and his hugely successful solo years.
Audiences in Blackburn can expect to hear many of Clapton’s best-loved songs performed live, including Layla, Cocaine, I Shot the Sheriff, Crossroads, Lay Down Sally and Holy Mother.
Running for nearly two hours, Forever Clapton promises a fantastic night of classic blues and rock, celebrating the music of a true guitar legend.
