Step into a world where art, nature, and history collide in Blackburn Museum’s most ambitious exhibition yet. The Nature of Gothic brings together breathtaking Pre-Raphaelite masterpieces, rare books and illuminated manuscripts, exquisite ceramics, and gothic textiles from the Museum’s own internationally significant Hart Collection and from top institutions like the British Library and Manchester Art Gallery.
With newly commissioned works by contemporary artists Jamie Holman and Nehal Aamir, this extraordinary exhibition weaves Blackburn’s local story into a much bigger cultural fabric.
