Blackburn with Darwen Council warns again over parking fine scam texts
Blackburn with Darwen Council has urged residents to stay alert after Parking Services received a number of calls from people sent fake texts claiming they owed money for a parking fine.
Auditions are being held in Darwen for local soloists to take the lead on Shake Off The Rain, the second single from Begin2Sing. The community singing project says the track will feature voices from people who have taken part in its free workshops over the past year.
Residents across Blackburn with Darwen are being urged to take simple precautions as an amber heat-health alert comes into force across the North West from Wednesday morning.
